Not one of our easiest conservatories, but as Devon conservatory specialists...we like a challenge!. We installed a new white uPVC gable fronted conservatory in Sidmouth, Devon.
Due to the angle of the garden in relation to the proposed conservatory, roof and frames were expertly designed and tapered to fit perfectly into this awkward location.
Our specialist conservatory base team moved an existing drain gulley and formed single skin walls to maximise internal space. The walls were damp-proofed, insulated, battened and plasterboarded ready for final plastering. This process gained around 300mm of internal space that would have otherwise been lost if cavity walls were built.
The existing single door was removed, a new lintel installed and the doorway opened up with a pair of French doors. White PVCu conservatory frames were installed with an Ultraframe double-glazed conservatory roof. Pilkington Activ self cleaning glass was used in the conservatory roof to filter the direct sunlight, yet still retain warmth in the winter months
