Our steel door double-glazed units comprise of Low-e glass, warmedge spacer bars and Krypton filled gas to comply with local building regulations requirements.

You can also choose from self cleaning, solar control, acoustic or obscure glass.

Glass can be secured in place using optional Aluminium glazing beads or silicoine glazed.

Products and installation are guaranteed for 5 years should you choose this service.

We are able to deliver your new doors direct to home or site address. We provide roadside delivery, so it's important to have someone on site to help unloading on day of delivery.

Our products are delivered with the glass loose for site glazing by others.

Full glazing instructions are supplied.

Are W20 steel doors thermally broken? - No, the W20 system does not have a thermal break, though highly effiecient 18mm Krypton filled toughened double-glazed units help combat condensation.

How wide can you make a W20 steel single door? - The maximum width of a single door including frame is 900mm. We can manufacture oversized doors, but would not offer a warranty.

How wide can you make W20 French doors? - The maximum width of a double opening French door including frame is 1800mm. We can manufacture oversized doors, but would not offer a warranty.

How tall can you make the doors? - Doors can be manuactured up to 2400mm in height. Any door over this height would require a glazed light above.

Are the doors single or double-glazed? - We can provide single or double-glazed doors for internal or external use.

What is the U-Value of your double-glazed doors? - Overall U-Values vary depending upon door size and style. The centre pane U-Value of our double-glazed units is 1.1 Wm2K. The centre pane method is used for building regulations compliance for new build and replacement applications.

Can your steel doors be fire rated? - We are able to supply fire rated glass and steel glazing studs. Though not specifically fire rated, it is possible to have our W20 steel doors approved by your local building control officer. Please check.
